Dear Citizens, hello. I hope any of you in the
vicinity will consider attending and let others know
as well.

This is an all-ages acoustic concert to celebrate the
release of my new all-acoustic 6th cd "Mister Double
Happiness" at Kuumbwa Jazz in Santa Cruz CA on Friday
May 23rd 8:00pm.

Special guests are 'cellist Mark Summer of The Turtle
Island String Quartet (http://tisq.com) and
accordionist Henry Salvia of The Houston Jones Band
(http://houstonjones.com).

The concert will be filmed under the direction of San
Francisco filmmaker Jacque Hagerty for a full length
concert dvd.

Advance tickets are available through my website
(http://www.mickoverman.com) for those who want to
order and purchase them online or from me directly and
also at the door.

"Mister Double Happiness" is produced by 5 time Grammy
nominee Cookie Marenco
(http://cookiemarenco.com) and features 'cellist Mark
Summer of the Turtle Island String
Quartet (http://tisq.com) and bassist David Hayes who
has been Van Morrison's
bassist/bandleader/co-producer for over 3 decades
(http://davidhayesmusic.com) with
accordionist/keyboardist Henry Salvia of the Houston
Jones Band (http://houstonjones.com).

Acoustic instruments are used exclusively and only
microphones are plugged in on this audiophile quality
product recorded and mixed on analog tape (like all my
releases).

8 new Overman originals including standout opener "The
Elemental Now" and "Save The World By Bedtime" are
presented along with "Catch More Bees" and "Shine On
Me Now". 60's covers include "Secret Agent Man" and
"Walk Away Renee". Prince's "When You Were Mine" and
Jules Shear's/The Bangles "If She Knew What She Wants"
pay respect to the 80's while Laura Nyro's 70's
spiritual "Save The Country" provides a hopeful
finale.

Mick Overman & The Maniacs features Peter Booras
(drums/percussion) and Patrick O'Connor
(mandolin/guitar/vocals/banjo/percussion) with Craig
Owens (bass/vocals).

This event will also introduce the new "Mister Double
Happiness" and "Good Thing Happen" women's and men's
T-Shirts.

Thanks very much for your time. Love, Mick
