I'm forwarding this message to the list in the hope that someone can help
these folks. As entertainment director for the San Diego Scottish Highland
Games, I've employed Highland Fusion several times, and I've always been
impressed by their professionalism. The message below speaks for itself.

If there's anyone out there who knows how to contact Mr. Moran, please
communicate directly with Leslie at the address below.

Dick Jay

Subject: Message from Highland Fusion

Dear fellow members of the Scottish and Celtic community,

My name is Leslie Crews and I am the director of the Highland Fusion
performing dance troupe. I am writing to you because Highland Fusion has
either performed with you at a Celtic festival or because we have been
employed by you as performers at a Scottish games or other event. I am
writing to reach out to the community to try to get your help in contacting
Mr. Pat Moran, organizer of the Celtic Christmas Faire that was held
December 2nd, 2007 at Soka University in Orange County. Highland Fusion was
hired by Mr. Moran to perform at this event, and we are very upset by the
fact that Mr. Moran is now over five months delayed in his payment to
Highland Fusion. We were understanding when he notified us in early January
that he had some financial difficulties as a result of the Christmas Faire
event, however since then we have had no communication whatsoever from him.
I'm sure you will agree that it is completely unacceptable to fail to pay
performers hired for an event after such a lengthy time and with no attempt
to get in touch.

We have tried to contact Mr. Moran over the past two months via email,
letter mail and phone. He has not responded to numerous emails sent, and the
certified notice that we sent to him at the address he provided in our
contract was "refused" at the destination, and he has not answered or
returned any phone calls. I would like to appeal to you as fellow performers
or members of the Scottish community that if you personally have any current
contact information-phone numbers, addresses (home, work or otherwise)-for
Mr. Moran, we would greatly appreciate it if you could pass that information
along to us. We are terribly distressed that this situation has come to such
a point, but we hope that through the support of the community, we will be
able to get in contact with Mr. Moran and resolve this issue in a timely
manner.

You can contact us at this email address (leslie2004 at highlandfusion.com) or
by phone at (619) 990-6233. We are grateful for your support.

Best regards,
Leslie Crews
Director, Highland Fusion
