[FAR-West] FAR-West Showcase Submissions, etc.

Hi all!
 
The FAR-West 5th Annual Conference will take place Oct 24 - 26, 2008 at the  
Phoenix Mesa Marriott and Convention Center (yes, it is 100%... signed, 
sealed,  delivered...). 
 
We will have On-Line Registration available this year, and it will be  
implemented shortly. We are in the process of getting the online system up and  
running. so keep checking back on the website. 
 
Ok... the big Kahuna... Showcase Submissions... FAR-West prides itself on  
creating a showcase that embraces the widest variety of genres from traditional  
to contemporary singer-songwriters and in fact has an excellent track record 
of  embracing traditional artists. This is a very clear goal for our 
conference. We  will be officially announcing our Showcase submission process as soon 
as  OnLine Registration is up and running, however, it does include  options 
for Hard Copy Submissions as well as via SonicBids. This decision was  actually 
made a few weeks ago, we just needed to get the particulars of  implementation 
in order. You spoke, we listened.
