[FAR-West] Workshop [Berkeley]: Performing with a Sound System

   What a great topic! And a good one for a workshop at the next FAR-West
gathering as well. There was agreat one at FARM two years ago. It would be a
fine topic for outreach to youth and emerging artists.

   If you're new to using sound reinforcement, remember that some things are
true, no matter what you hear:

You CAN mike an acoustic guitar on stage.
You don't have to eat a vocal mike in order to be heard.
The sound person wants the music to sound good too.
And it's MIKE, darn it.
