Well, yes, good point, Steve...
I'm collecting the list on several levels, and it seems to be
evolving into something with a mind of its own along the way....and
maybe for something a little different, a focus on the favorites of
the world music crowd....since we are fanatical listeners...but
having the big list is a great place to start the thinking...I can
see the smoke coming out of our collective ears....like, who have
been the most frequent visitors to your cd player over the years,
like the top 5.
for time on the turntable, For me I might add:
Miriam Makeba
Billie Holiday
Rose (and Tau) Moe
Aunty Edith Kanaka`ole
Zap Mama
Lucilla Galeazzi (& Mamas)
June Carter & family
Ann Savoy & friends
and don't forget to add Tarika to the main list!
