I love Alex and her roster. If I posted every time the publicists here at
rock paper scissors scored a nice media hit, you guys would hate me (so
please check our website early and often). BUT... I think having newer
voices here on the list are more important than having a rigid policy. So,
talk to us, Alex... what's on your mind these days in the realm of booking
and promoting your bands? What are the issues, the trends, the challenges,
the opportunities? And this, of course, is not just for Alex, but everyone
on the list who has not posted or not posted often. Let's bridge the gaps
right here and now.
Much respect,
Dmitri

<<I think Alex's post was informational. That an appearance on NPR may
also be promotional is immaterial. It is putting a world artist in front
of the "mainstream" which has been a biz topic on this list. That someone
has succeeded in doing so is business info and noteworthy. Just like I
would want to be made aware of a visa-related article or Grammy winners (ok
I don't care that much about the
Grammys...)>>
