[FA Worldmusic] Soliciting Suggestions

Hey Allison -

There is an organization that has done solar-powered concert or concert
series on the east side of Lower Manhattan. I know I saw Romashka there a
couple of summers ago! This is a presenter I guess, technically, not an
artist. But maybe of interest?

Can't recall the organization, but I can look into it if you're curious.

This is such a tricky topic though in this milieu. Is it possible to tour
green? Maybe tour in a Prius? That helps only a little... Flying green
- hmm. Of course yes, the venues can be greener, the cd packs can use
recycled materials, there's definitely that. But there's still a lot of
waste involved (frankly it's better in this regard to wean ourselves off
physical cds).

I'm glad you want to have an APAP forum on this though - it will be very
interesting.
