Wanted to pass along this new site that I just found out about
http://www.flight808.com/
The founder wrote this about it when he was first looking for contacts.
After looking around and failing to find any decent online outlets for
discovering interesting hip-hop from around the world, I9ve decided to take
matters into my own hands. I9m starting up an mp3 blog/podcast that focuses
on international hip-hop. Specifically, we9re looking for songs that are not
completely derivative of American hip-hop. They must be uniquely French, or
Senegalese, or Indonesian, etc...
Haven't spent a lot of time going through it yet, but seems like a valuable
new resource. And robert Singerman will be excited to see that there is a
translation function on there....
All the best,
Bill Bragin
