Where's the balance?!!! This is a typical Bill Moyers full-court press
piece where only one side of the story is told.
I didn't hear one single point of view from the "other side" of the
argument. Did they interview anyone? Maybe Bill didn't think any of us
want to hear another argument on the issue - to be able to make up our own
minds?
All this drivel about there being any need for any FCC or other organization
overseeing any media control in the public. Nobody is forced to watch the
same five TV channels for their news & information - Most Americans have
access to thousands of sources via internet and cable TV.
Let the market (ie. the people) control where media control goes. We don't
need the government to get involved in ANY of this. Let the people decide
through media usage what the market will present.
