Hey Dmitri,

Attached are pdf files of the initial Grammy ballot entries for:

1) Catagory 16: World Music

2) Catagory 14: Folk Music

3) Catagory 15: Reggae Music

4) Category 12: Latin Music

5) Category 13: Blues Music

6) Category 11: Gospel Music

7) Category 17: Polka Music

These would seem to be the fields that are of most interest to those on this
list serve.

For those who are voting members of NARAS, your ballots need to be recieved
in hand (not post-marked) by close of day Wednesday - so hopefully they are
already en route.

>From these lengthy lists of eligible recordings, the fields will be narrowed
down to 5 recordings in each category via this initial ballot. Those
top 5 recordings will then be the official nominated recording for each
respective field that will be announced on December 6th. There is then
a final round of voting that takes place, with the winners of each category
being announced at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb 10, 2008.

In a bit of shameless self-promotion, here are a few recordings from our
roster that are on this initial ballot:

1) Field 14- Folk Music / Category 72 - Best Zydeco or Cajun Music
Recording

Entry 009 - Geno Delafose & French Rockin' Boogie ./ Le Cowboy Creole
(co-produced by Geno and myself and released via Yusuf at Times Square
Records)

----

2) Field 16 - World Music / Category 75 - Contemporary World Music

Entry 055: Hugh Masekela / Live at the Market Theatre
(Times Square Records)

Entry 062: Oliver Mtukudzi / Tsimba Itsoka
(Heads Up International)

Entry 048: Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca / Isabella
(Mopiata Music)

--------------------

Best,
