Hi all!

We've been creating and distributing the kinds of resources Bernadette is interested in, since 1985. Go to www.worldmusicpress.com to see our offerings, all geared toward classroom use, and all providing an authentic collection of childrens songs, insight into the culture by the primary authors (always a cultural insider), most include crafts, recipes, common words and phrases, maps, photos, and a full CD of everything in the book.
Bernadette, if you'd like to call me I"d be happy to brainstorm with you. (Contact info below my name.)

Bob Haddad (Music of the World) put together a World Music study guide
for schools. It's Glencoe-McGraw Hill World Music and it comes with a
teacher's guide, student activities and 2 CDs.
