I know the musician Kaissa from Cameroon has been having a lot of problems
with her visa.  She has appeared on two Putumayo albums (Women of the World:
Acoustic and Women of Africa) and has had rave reviews from her
performances.  She will also be appearing in July at the Santa Fe Folk Art
Festival.  I would love to put you in contact with her if you are looking
for a first hand interview from an artist dealing with the story you are
