MANU CHAO "La Radiolina" (Spain/France)
Powerful performer and international superstar, Manu Chao, releases his
first studio album in six years, and just completed a sold out tour of the
U.S. in June including Coachella, Sasquatch, Bonnaroo, Celebrate Brooklyn,

ASHLEY MAHER, US/Canada, world/folk/jazz/pop, 2-9 Members
Solo artist Ashley Maher has recorded four albums (two for Virgin UK) with
top West African & Latin musicians in London, Paris, and Los Angeles. Her
voice sounds like Joni Mitchell. Her music sounds like Paul Simon meets
Youssou N'Dour. Ashley's performances range from acoustic to mid-size to her
Big Global Band, featuring musicians from Cameroon, Senegal, Venezuela,
Brazil, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and the USA, plus fiery West African dancers.
In June, Ashley opened for Baaba Maal, and when she opened for Salif Keita
on the Santa Monica Pier last August, the seven thousand strong crowd gave
her a standing ovation. Ashley is touring to promote her fourth CD, "Flying
Over Bridges," produced by Cameroon's Andre Manga. She is actively seeking a
booking agent.
