KAHERVA SACRA fully started at 2006 and its members are professional musicians from various backgrounds, we live in Jakarta. Our musical concept is: becouse of there are many influences in indonesian traditional musical heritage, Malay traditional music become one of the richest culture in the world. From the musical approach, We've tried to start from the beggining searching the roots of malay music by drawing back the history again and run through another path to one direction: present time. However, that was the basic idea to get into the modern (or post-?) world without loosing our real identity. Youl'll hear the results, it might be not that excellent but at least we'd die trying to do so :)
