Marco/Alexandra,

Our agency will not likely be submitting any showcase artists this year for
SXSW, but we are based here in Austin so we probably have a good sense as to
what venues might make sense for a daytime event.

One thought would be to tie a daytime international showcase together with
my friend's international import store Tesoro's.

I've worked with them in putting together previous daytime in-store showcase
events in the past (Oliver Mtukudzi, Ricardo Lemvo, Joaquin Diaz etc...)
and they have been pretty successful.

The store is great to work with and they also take out additional
advertising in the local media during SXSW promoting their store and the
daytime showcases they are presenting. The store is also moving to a new
larger location on South Congress (hippest part of town) in time for SXSW so
the location would be ideal...

Once you have a potential line-up in mind, give me a shout and I can put you
in touch with the proper folks at the store to see if they'd be interested
in being involved.

Best,
