fascinating read ian, thanks. while my efforts to green the planet
are minimal (i don't own a car and only ride a bike, flick off my
lights, etc.) i work with a green activist. johan hultqvist, the
charismatic lead vocalist for Mr. Something Something gives
passionate green speak from the stage and is organizing on small and
large scales. the band's next CD will not be packaged in plastic,
for example.

here in toronto, johnny dovercourt aka jonathan bunce wrote a chapter
in the first uTOpia book about a futuristic music centre operating
entirely with a green plan. the future had virtually eliminated
fossil fuel so all music was local, and the centre was run on various
on-site gases.

i expect this topic has room to grow (sic) in the music "industry".
