[FA Worldmusic] African Kora Awards alive?

Does anyone know if the African music Kora Awards still exist. Their web 
site, http://www.koraawards.co.za/, seems to be gone and we are getting 
people from South Africa (the awards are/were held in South Africa) 
asking us about it.
