FOUR WEEKS TO GO! 

WOMEX is just four weeks away... If you haven't booked your hotel yet,
beware, the more economical rooms are taken first. Delegate bookings 
are up, the trade fair stands are fully taken, the showcase artists 
are putting new strings on their guitars, new reeds in their 
saxophones, new samples in their laptops (???) -- everyone is getting 
ready for what promises to be a fantastic event!

When you arrange your personal schedule, please keep in mind the WOMEX 
DAYCASES. WOMEX established the DAYCASES as a way to present more 
intimate artists in a context more suitable to their performance 
styles. The exciting bustle of the simultaneous night showcases can 
work against more introspective, acoustic artists. Plus, with the 
special spoken introductions, the DAYCASE artists have an extra 
opportuntiy to get their message across.

HOW TO GET TO WOMEX

FIBES, Sevilla's Conference and Exhibition Centre, is situated in the 
Northeast part of the city between the airport and the city centre.

A new train line makes life easier for WOMEXicans. The Circular 4 runs
every 30 minutes from Monday to Friday between the main railway 
station Santa Justa and Palacio de Congresos (FIBES). From Santa Justa
to Palacio de Congresos, trains run from 05:57 - 22:27. From Palacio 
de Congresos to Santa Justa, trains run from 07:31 - 21:31. The 
journey takes only 7 minutes.

Bus No. 27 links Plaza de la Encarnacisn in the city centre with Avda.
Alcalde Luis Uruquela (FIBES), stopping at Puerta Osario, Calle

WOMEX 2007 IN SEVILLA

It's time to put an end to all rumours about our WOMEX 2007 location.
We're so excited by the return to the bewitching capital of Andalusia 
that we've reserved FIBES not for one, but for two WOMEX editions - 
in 2006 and 2007. We even have an option for 2008, as usually at the 
last weekend of October.
