[FA Worldmusic] East African charity seeks African music cds for fundraiser

The East African Center for the Empowerment of Women and Children
(www.eastafricancenter.org) is having a fundraiser in the D.C. area on
November 2nd, and is looking for donations of African music CDs to put in
gift bags at the event. They hope to raise a total of 150 CDs (info
follows).

If you are a label that can donate CDs of African music, or are a publicist
who works with labels that might be able to help, please contact Evan
Serpick at evan.serpick at rollingstone.com. Evan was a Peace Corps volunteer
in a Kenyan village and is on the center's Board of Directors.
