[FA Worldmusic] WOMEX to Remain in Sevilla Until 2008

For those of you not at WOMEX, I am posting here news from WOMEX 
announced earlier today:

Sevilla, Spain - In a press conference held at the Sevilla convention 
center (FIBES), WOMEX organizers confirmed that Sevilla will host the 
world music conference until 2008.

The current edition of WOMEX has broken attendance records. Over 2500 
attendees from 97 countries have participated, representing 1400 
companies. 425 Spanish and international reporters registered, including 
100 radio stations. The trade fair sold out all the space, which 
included 240 booths (stalls).

One of the highlights of WOMEX are its showcases. This year there were 
48 showcases with 340 artists from 30 countries in 4 different stages.
