Greetings re this feedback - I have been following the strand and agree with all that is said about sound, lack of green room/lounge space, food and I will be following some stuff through with UK delegates. And endorse Ian's succinct and direct comment - including finding a good permanent home for Womex. Tho I will still be coming back and may well submit artists for showcase for next year even so.
One thing for the N American response - I interviewed Azim Ali from Niyaz and in chatting she said that they had been very ecxited by the Womex showcase opportunity and set up at Gateshead and were disappointed with the challenge presented to them by the stage / sound facilities at Seville. They might want to add their experience to your letter?
Good things included the support I got from Womex - Ivica and team - for my conference session (women in the world of music ...) and the opportunity to use the radio facility for future broadcast.
Warm greetings to you all
Debbie

The problem with the form is there isn't enough space to really say much -
seems like a separate letter might not be a bad idea. I also think it is
helpful to send a letter that represents a coalition of NA attendees (wait,
don't we have one of those??)...seems like it would have more impact than 40
separate one-liners from NA folks.....any takers on this idea?
